Early 1900's ANTIQUE Little 5.25" Dutch Delft Tobacco Jar GOEDEWAAGEN DELFTWARE
This is a little antique Delft tobacco jar, made by the Dutch Goedewaagen factory, decorated with two indians smoking a pipe and holding tobacco leaves. It is from the Goedewaagen factory in Holland (The Netherlands). This jar is before 1910, because in 1910 the queen gave it the title 'Royal Goedewaagen' and since 1910 all products of Goedewaagen are marked 'Royal Goedewaagen'. Goedewaagen was a factory of pipes and kitchen ware, founded in 1779 by Dirk Goedewaagen. Toeback is old Dutch for tobacco. Lid is made of brass
